I began my venture into photography as a kid and have continued to learn and grow ever since those film days.  The fundamentals that make a great photograph: balancing light and shadow, creative composition, and capturing emotion and connection are key to classic, timeless photos.  

I take great pride in providing not only epic photos for your family or business, but also providing a personalized experience that will leave you feeling pretty stellar about yourself and your choice to have professional portraits.

The nuts and bolts:

I have a BA Degree in Fine Art Photography from The University of Tulsa and I worked in a portrait studio in south Texas after graduating college. I decided to pursue my own professional photography business after gaining invaluable experience working for one of the most sought after photographers in that area.  Ever since, I have been honing in my technical skills while growing a little family and business of my own.

I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America which is a fantastic organization of photographers from around the country.  I love attending continuing education conferences and connecting with others photographers from around the country in order to better myself and my craft.  I have been pursuing my Certified Professional Photography Degree and currently have passed the written exam!!  Next up is the practical and image submission.... I'll be posting a blog about it soon so keep in touch!
